The cordage factory deals with spinning and weaving of sisal products, it is located about 1 km off the Tanga – Dar es Salaam/Arusha highway at Ngomeni – Muheza District area in Tanga. It is well served by rail and road into the hinterland. The mill is capable of producing 10,500 tons of yarns per year.
